Girling Supplies | Catering Suppliers

One of the things that we often get asked is if we can improve a website that another company has created. We certainly can and that is exactly what we are doing for Girling Supplies at the moment.

Iain Girling has a website and content management system for his catering supplies company but there were areas of it that he felt needed improving so after a going through everything in detail, we set to work on small but crucial parts of the site. We started by changing the text on the Home page, adding key words like catering supplies, catering equipment, etc and then moved on to building up the site with internal links. These support the website as it's a way of boosting your site's appearance to Google.

Although Iain is based in the North West, he supplies catering equipment to restaurants and food distributers all over the country so it was important that we didn't close off his site content to other areas of the UK. This is something that he could do through more specific Search Engine Optimisation through Google, for example.

We also cleaned up the site by changing some imagery and colour issues that were on the site. We have also cleaned up the code to make it more SEO friendly to benefit it's presence in search engines.

The next stage will involve adding new images and tidying up the layout of certain pages so that the usability is further improved.
