Pirate Island
Pirate Island is a free game I have developed for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
The idea of the game is to direct pirate ships back to their desert island homes. Ships appear randomly, and you must hold your finger over the ship and then draw a path to the home island. There are 40 addictive levels to play, each increasing in difficulty. You lose when two ships collide. It’s a simple, but very addictive idea.
Collect treasure chests along the way to earn extra points.
Pirate Island is integrated with OpenFeint, a social network for mobile gaming. OpenFeint players can compete against each other for high scores, chat with one another in real-time, discuss subjects in forums from inside the game, and earn achievements. We have found that a lot of people will download a game purely to earn the OpenFeint achievements and to try and beat their friends in the global rankings.
Level 40 is still unbeaten and is extremely difficult.

On the first 2 days the game was placed on the App Store it received more than 2,000 downloads. Over 250,000 ads were displayed to players of the game within the first 5 days. Pirate Island has also been awarded App of the Week by Corona, the company responsible for the iOS game framework.
